The Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the American authority that regulates drugs and foods, has published on its website a list with four tips to ensure healthy eating to children who are going to resume school and extracurricular activities.
The rules identified by the body are: plan meals, presenting fruits and vegetables in an unusual and fun, not to make exaggerated portions and always read the labels.
1. Program meals of the week
Leila Baker, the FDA Center for Food Safety, said that the key to prepare healthy foods is the programming: it is better to start planning family meals for the entire week.
"If it is a task that scares you, start planning lunch for a day or two and then increased. Ask for help from your children" says Baker "to prepare meals and in the program, so develop healthy habits that will last forever. Without programming, you end up taking food ready ''.
